Filter for topics and authors

since no built-in capabilities of content filtering is not provided to us, and read many non-core for themselves blogs and an endless list of news, which is not always even close to IT — there is neither time nor possibilities, I wrote a script that filters topics and their authors.

With this script you can hide or not blogging (and not authors) and leave only the headers of these topics or the header with the dashboard, where the rating, vote and comments, to lighten their title (make less visible) or even completely remove any mention of them. And by the way, the script works and have not registered users.

The filter can filter out as blog name, and the name of the user who wrote the topic. That is, you can filter, for example “the Blog of Horns and Hoofs” or all the topics (regardless of the blog) written by user “Bender” (all names and random coincidences).
The script has 5 important options available at the top of the page by clicking on the “filter” (where your username or invitation to enter). The screenshot in the topic title just shows the options.

By default, the filtered topics will appear in the list:

That is, in the list only the header and the dashboard, the body topic will be hidden and the top will be clarified to less visible.

And now about the important options that affect the filtered topics and all filtering.
fade – by default, the script lightens filtered topics (as zaminusovali comments). Option allows this feature to be disabled.
Show scores – This option allows you to enable or disable the panel with voting and other information from the post. My personal opinion is — it is better to leave the vote, because without your voice the content of the site could get worse, and your voice really matters. But the option is there and still you decide.
hide – option for the real Jedi. Completely hide filtered topics, even the title remains.
Filter blogs companies is so clear that the script with this option will always filter the blogs, companies, all, without exception.
Show only filtered – this option changes the filter opposite. You will only see the topics that you will be added to the filter. The rest will be hidden in the chosen way.

In order to add a blog or author in the filter — you need to click the plus sign. Plus the script draws before heading to Topeka (filter blog) and the author's name (filter by authors). If the topic is hidden, instead of the plus sign will appear a minus in the corresponding place instead of the plus sign, and clicking the minus — the filter will be clean.

All data that uses the script is stored in localStorage (html5). Latest versions of popular browsers support it long ago and thanks to it became possible to write such a script. In Chrome and FireFox I have checked and no problems found. In Opera too, I think, problems will not arise. Here is the script — userscripts.org/scripts/show/87349. Installation instructions if you do not know how to put userscript's, you can read tut at the bottom of the page.

In General use, if that – write letters.
