Head-Up Display for any car — how to drive safely in poor visibility
Here are three movies that I think of first when it comes to projections and holograms — "Star Wars", "minority report" and "Iron Man". My opinion about the augmented reality is cool and give me two. The idea is to make driving in poor visibility safer — the picture of the road from the driver directly in front of his face in a way that is perceived very easily. Well, and focus with the projection on the road and back is no more difficult than with a speedo — and I look at him very often. Yes, for the top segment of the car is not new — BMW, Audi and several other automakers already offer Head-Up display as a built-in option. But for all other HUD software that does not require a separate iron is a very cool idea.

But the day you can focus just on the voice prompts — in the head quickly built a picture of how many meters the next turn, where to steer and when to slow down. If you allow the adjustment of the speed of the accelerometer, the data is noticeably more accurate than using only GPS.
Even basic functionality is enough for the average user, but voice prompts — a good thing, it's worth a try in action. I'm not sorry 30 rubles and tried PRO mode with voice, customization and more — wanted to test a different kind of way. The flight is normal, the points on the road when approaching the turn — good idea. Plus, there was something to surprise friends when meeting :)
About price. In the iOS version is now subscription — $1 per month and $7 per year. In the Android version of the PRO mode costs $2, but the voices while there is still no. Let's not compare with the warm soft, but it is ten times less than the cost of other navigation apps.
In practice, the projection of the road on the glass (Head-Up Display) really helps to drive in bad weather (rain, fog, snowstorm) and in the dark outside the city — especially on unfamiliar winding roads where no lighting. Hudway is a really good app. But while it has its disadvantages. The first and most important concluded not even in the application, and of the need to buy a special Mat that will not let the phone slide across the dash. Another minus — sometimes unusual interface: when different menu and the settings panel appear on the left and right, and the top is at first confusing.
