Overview of dedicated servers Kimsufi and SoYouStart

After several months of use of the ordered servers, I recommend Kimsufi his friend, and was surprised to find that, according to the renewed agreement, to use the servers can only citizens of the European Union.
And now, with the new year, OVH launched a new website for selling cheap dedicated servers – SoYouStart.com, and again opened an opportunity for all to register at Kimsufi.com, besides, the latter was available in a Russian language!
Below is the review of new proposals from OVH servers –new updated SoYouStart and Kimsufi dedicated servers from € 8 a month.
So, two new offerings from OVH — Kimsufi and SoYouStart.
a Kimsufi Server – weak, but cheap servers. The range from 8 euros per month per server PS-1 single-core Celeron® 220и two gigabytes of memory and 30 euros per server PS-31 on a 4-core Xeon E3-1225 v2 and 16 gigabytes of memory and 500 GB disks in RAID-1. Good!
All Kimsufi servers have a disk on 500 GB, and, since the server PS-5 for 12 euros – two disks in software RAID-1. Also available 100-megabita network, one ipv4 address and one ipv6 address (/128). One-time setup fee for the server Kimsufi is € 10.
Servers SoYouStart keep a ruler and start from the server SYS-E32-1 with the same Xeon processor E3-1225v2, but with 32 GB of memory and 2TB disk for € 35. Ends line server SYS-W35-3 processor Xeon-W3565 (Bloomfield old) and 48 GB memory 48 euros. More powerful servers available on the main website OVH.com (82 euros).
All servers SoYouStart have a disk to 2 TB (software RAID-1), and two servers – SSD disk 120 GB (also in soft RAID-1, but the two servers have the hard RAID). Connected to Gigabit network with a guaranteed bandwidth of 200 Mbps, is also given one ipv4 address and /64 subnet ipv6. One-time setup fee for the server Kimsufi is 50 euros.
The Kimsufi servers are only available in France, and the server SoYouStart available in one of three French datacenters, and the datacenter in Canada. Unfortunately, not all servers are available at any of the centers and of the entire line of servers Kimsufi (31 position in the line) to 13 (at least at the time of writing).
The following table shows the main parameters of servers SoYouStart and Kimsufi lines. For a kit added to the table, the cheapest server is the main line OVH and one with a cheap Hetzner server. The table only is available for ordering Kimsufi servers (full table).
In the column "Virt." is indicated if your CPU supports virtualization.

In the column "Specific rating" I brought "unit cost" of the server divided the resulting total power cost of the server per month.
All data are summarized in table on Google Docs. Unfortunately, Google Spreadsheet doesn't know how to decorate columns as convenient as MS Excel.
It is clear that the proposed formula for calculating power is far from ideal, but the approximate ratio it shows. If someone offers a competent assessment of the capacity of the server, I will add the proposed method in the table.
In my opinion, the Kimsufi servers – quite an interesting offer. If anyone needs a dedicated server and a VPS is not satisfied, but the money for popular Hetzner is not enough, or just don't need a powerful server, then this offer is for you. In the end, many local hosting companies offer a less powerful VPS for much more money.
SoYouStart servers were at a price comparable to the cheapest server with Hetzner, but mostly have older hardware, which led to a lower specific rating.

In my opinion, the Kimsufi servers – quite an interesting offer.
